Wobbe

Wobbs is the co-owner, trainer and coach here at Threshold Fitness. They grew up in Elmira, Oregon graduating from Marist High School in 1999. Wobbs played Division I Basketball at The University of Utah and earned their degree in Exercise and Sport Science. They have been a personal trainer since 2003, seven of those years as a trainer at Oakway Fitness Center here in Eugene. They enjoy being in the outdoors and during the summertime they like to camp, hike, and rock climb as much as possible. Some of their fitness qualifications include: BS in Exercise and Sport Science, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, CrossFit Movement & Mobility Course, CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist), NCSF (National Counsel Of Sports & Fitness), and AFAA (Aerabics & Fitness Association Of America).

Wobbs is always ready to work with anyone who walks through the door, and is no stranger to customizing workouts to suit your needs. As long as you’ve got a will and a way, Wobbs will put in their all to make sure you’re working towards your fitness goals. Wobbs teaches the majority of the scheduled group classes in addition to some one-on-one training.

“When I first opened the gym after playing college sports, I just needed a place to challenge and push myself. Unless you’re a collegiate or professional athlete, there aren’t many competitive options available after high school or college. The gym gives you a place to compete amongst other members or merely against yourself. Workouts can be scored so there’s a competitive side and for me, it’s a sport. It doesn’t matter your age, gender or body type, it’s all about your effort. We meet you where you’re at.”

Jessica Ingalls

Jessica Ingalls, co-owner of Threshold Fitness, has been working in the fitness industry since 2006. She offers a variety of movement modalities to clients and can transition with ease from one modality to another within the same session. She tailors each session to what her client’s bodies need whether it be personal training, mat and machine based pilates, yoga, and/or CoreAlign. She works with a wide variety of clients regardless of age and/or ability. She has worked with athletes striving to better their fitness within their sport as well as specialty populations. As a dancer, movement has been intuitive for her. She loves being grounded and present in her body and wanted to share that expression of movement and potentiality with others. She trains her clients how to move with mastery and ease as they get stronger, more mobile, flexible and as they move toward achieving their personal fitness goals.

Jessica received both her dancing and pilates training from her mentor, Cheryl Lemmer, who was a master instructor for Balanced Bodies. Jessica has certifications from Balanced Bodies for both Pilates and CoreAlign and has trained intensively under Stott Pilates Master Trainers as well as learned from Mary Bowen, an elder of Joseph Pilates. Jessica has attended countless trainings in the fitness industry such as The Pilates Method Alliance annual conferences, CrossFit’s Level 1 course and CrossFit specialty courses on mobility and goal setting, to name a few. She is always working to expand her knowledge and expertise base.
